4.10.2025, 1040 - Marina del Sur, Las Galletas

I changed berths yesterday. It was actually good. My first berth was very close to the walkway, so everybody saw me from the top. Those who knew me and my boat immediately discovered the facts about my whereabouts. Not a great thing for me in moments of desiring solitude, but it was doable.

But yesterday evening, I got the info that I needed to change places because my original berth was too big, and I was potentially taking up space for a catamaran. Which is fine, no problem. It made me a little stressed because I came here to have some fucking peace, and that seems not to want to happen easily, but hey, we know how changes work. They let themselves be known and knock a few times. We've talked about it.

The good thing about changing places is that you can reset the energy from the previous place. It's like a new start. New breeze. Even if it's just a few boats away.

Also, there was a wedding happening on the closest catamaran to me, and I had no intention of listening to this party the whole night. Congratulations.

So whilst moving the boat, I encountered a new experience, and that was whilst reversing at quite a considerable speed, rudder turned full to starboard, and the boat was moving straight. Actually, for a long period of time. Never happened to me before. But better me without experience with underwater currents and gusts in the marina, but with okay rudder bearings. There's a suspicion of a missing bolt in my quadrant, so I will inspect that later. It's not the most accessible place.

A needed visit to some sufficient ferreteria is approaching the horizon.
